(Per Press Associatiori.) HASTINGS. April 13. A. daring burglary was committed Idst night, when th? window of Mr S. O. Garland’s jewellery shop was broken, and a packet of watches, the value of which is believed to be from £7O to £BO, was taken, but a tray of valuable wristlet watches, of the value of £3OO, was 10ft uritouclied. A large tray of gold watches was fortunately removed frb'm the window at closing time. The burglar then went to the other side of the town, where he left £2O worth of watches, including some highclass Rotherhams in a palmstand outside tea rooms, where thej r were found by a passer-by early this morning, while many of the missing watches are only cheap Ingersolls.
