SYDNEY WOOL SALES. (Australian & N.Z. Cable Assn.) SYDNEY, November 30. At to-day’s wool sales, there was splendid competition for fine wools. Prices advanced five per cent. Other sorts were unchanged. Greasy merino sold to 398 l per pound, a record for the season. ALEXANDER MINES, LTD. No. 1 Level: Driving north on reef has been put in hand and 16 feet driven on lode three feet wide. This makes a total distance of 126 ‘feet driven on reef in this level to date. No. 2 Level: The sinking of the winze below the floor of the level is being continued, and the winze is now down 45 feet on reef which has narrowed to a width of fifteen to eighteen inches and exhibits every indication of continuing in depth. s
