Gunn, Tiinaru, (8.13:7), and R. Loverend, Napier, (9.21), fought a draw. Gunn gave the better display in a sparkling contest and -was awarded a great round of applause as he left the ring. In the seventh round of his bout with A. Musson (Hastings) 9st., H. Leckie, of Dunedin, with both hands to the jaw, won a most interesting bout, on a knock-out.
