AT OTHER CENTRES Wanganui: Northerly breeze, overcast, rising, .des moderate, sea considerable, rain llpts.; Wellington, S.S.W. breeze, raining; t Westport: Light S.W. wind, overcast, raining, tides moderate, sea rough, rain 46pts; Arthur’s Pass: Light S.W. wind, overcast, rain 147pts.; Christchurch: S.W. fresh breeze, blue sky; Dunedin: S.W breeze, blue sky, tides good. WEATHER FORECAST “The indications are for southerly strong winds to gale. The weather will probably prove squally, with heavy showers and snow in back country. Rivers high arid probably very cold night. Barometer rising and the weather will improve after about 36 hours. Sea heavy and tides good.”
