Mr J M. Bunt left by car to-day on a short visit to Christchurch.

Mr H. G. Noy, Senior Surveyor of Ships at Dunedin, will return on Monday.

Dr. Kennedy, of Hokitika, who has Ibeen visiting Christchurch, will return this afternoon.

Mr and Mrs Thos. Jones, who have been visiting Christchurch, will return this afterndon.

After nineteen years’ service as Town Clerk at Hamilton, Mr E J. Davey has tendered his resignation.

Mr T. M. Charters, who has been visiting the West Coast, returned today to Christchurch.

Mis W. R.| J. Smythe. High Street, left this morn,rug on a short visit to Christchurch

Miss Flo. McMillan, of the Land and Deeds Department, Dunedin, will return on Monday morning.

Mrs W. Staveley (Hokitika), who has been visiting her sister, Mrs Frank Glasgow (Rangiora), will return tn is afternoon.

Mr and Mrs R. H. Johnston (Dunsandel) and Miss Brown (Christchurch)* are spending a holiday on the West Coast.

Bandmaster and Mrs Sutton, of the Christchurch Salvation Army, are the guests of Rev. J. F. and Mrs Martin, Franklin Street.

Mrs J. O’Regan (Inangahua Landing) is visiting Greymouth, and is the guest of Mr and Mrs M. Fogarty, Smith’s Terrace.

Mr And Mrs W. P. McCarthy, who have been attending the New Zealand golf tournament in Wellington, will return this afternoon.

Mrs Geo. Phillips, who has beeh attending the Main Schoo; Jubilee gathering of old scholars, returned toda,y to Christchurch.

Miss Blanche Hall, Wellington, ar•rived yesterday afternoon on a visit to relations in Greymouth. She returns north on Tuesday.

Mesdames W. Falvey and Trengrove, who Have been visiting Grevmouth for the purpose of attending the School Jubilee celebrations, returned this morning to Christchurch,

Mr E. Tomlinson,. of the Postal! partment, Wellington; .who has been spending a holiday with his parents, Mr and Mrs S. F. Tomlinson, returned North to-day.

Mr George Milton, Blackball, left this morning bn a visit to Scotland, where his rfiother is not enjoying good health. flfe expects to arrive back in New Zealand in nine month.- time.

Re>V. Father Hugh McDonnell, S.M., of ,St. Patrick’s College. Wellington, arrived yesterday, and will assist in 2he ceremony of the dedication of the ijiew altar at St. Patrick’s Church, which was donated by his late parents.

Air and Mrs Jas. Kerr (Petone) Messrs C. Benyon (Petone) C. Little and non (Wellington), Davison (Auckland), who have been attending the Jubilee' celebrations, will return on Monday. , c ;

-Mr J- Sullivan, accountant of the Canadian Marine Office, Christchurch, is visiting Greymouth. He is accompanied by Mrs Sullivan. They will return next week.

The marriage takes place on Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Church, Greymouth, of John, youngest son of Patrick Bourke, Brunnerton, to Una Blewman;, formerly of the nursing staff of the Grey Hospital.
