LISBON, June 17. Another revolution has started in Portugal. General Gomez Dacosta, the \Va,r Minister, alter a warlike demonstration, placed himself at the head of the Government, owing to dissensions with Senator Cabecadas (Premier). LATER. General Dacosta has decided to take over the Premiership. He has requested the officials of the Prime Minister’s office to assist him in forming a Ministry. MARTIAL LAW AGAIN. LISBON, June 18. Martial law has been proclaimed. Senator Cabecadas agreed to resign the Premiership. Salazar has resigned Finance in favour of General Cordes. Major Camara takes the Interior. Dacosta, Cordes and Camara form a triijnivirate. Other departments will be run by Under-Secretaries.
