FATALITY AT MILLERTON.,

WESTPORT, January 21. A fatality occurred hi the north-east section of the Mine Creek mine, Miller, ton, at two o’clock yesterday afternoon, John Brown, 54, married, being killed by a fall of coal without warning. Deceased was hit on the head and neck, and killed instantly. The coal fell only nine feet. An inquest will held this afternoon. Deceased was a first-class miner and was .favourably known.
