AERIAL PAGEANT
— — HENDON DEMONSTRATION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Ajsociat-ioti.) LONDON, June 27. A hundred thousand witnessed the lir pageant at Hendbn in the pressence of their Majesties. Several new types of machines, cf widely varying horsepower, demonstrated their uses as fast scouts. Troop carriers, large bombers, aerial ambulances, performed innumerable manoeuvres, including looping, the spiral, and nose diving to within a few feet of the ground. The use of wireless between machines in the air was demonstrated in aerial drill by four squadrons of thirty-six machines.
King George tested the wonders of wireless telephony and ordered the squadron to alter its ccurso fifteen nciid.s outwards. The message was broadcist and so heard that all the enclosure's pilot's turned instantly.
