REEFTON NOTES
(Our Own Correspondent.) z . REEFTON, June 2ff. The members of the. Rehfton Eire Brigade assembled last night at the Fire Station for tlie purpose of Ridding Foreman Tyler good-bye as, he leaves in a few days for AVestport. Captain Coxall, President, expressed the regret of the members at losing such an energetic and enthusiastic member and congratulated Foreman Tyler on attaining his 25th year of service, and asked their guest to accept a medal suitably inscribed to commemorate his association with the Reefton Fire Brigade. Foreman Tyler suitably responded and thanked the donors for their gift and expressed his regret at leaving such a fine lot of comrades and good fellows. The usual loyal toasts were honoured. Mr. H. T. Crumpton supplied the music.
