YOUTHS GUILTY
THEFT AND MISCHIEF. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, June 12. A batch of half-a-dozen youths, whose ages ranged from 19 to 22 years, appeared in the dock at the- Alagis trate’s Court to-day, before Air H. AV. Bundle, S.M., to answer to a formidable list of charges of breaking and entering, theft and mischief. Colin Frederick AlcDonald, Robert AlcDonald Alcßeath, William Leslie Lamb, and John Milne were charged with having, on June 2, broken and entered the shop of George Madigan at Caversham and, stolen a number of articles valued at £42 11s 2d. Frank Abbot AlcDonald, Colin Frederick AlcDonald, and Robert AlcDonald Mcßeath, were charged with havjng, on Alay 31, at Caversham, broken and entered the warehouse of the Cowie
Brewery Company, Ltd., and stolen a quantity of liquor valued at £3 IDs. Frank Abbot AlcDonald, Robert AlcDonald Alcßeath, and Colin Frederick AlcDonald were charged with having, on Alay 31, at Caversham, broken and entered the warehouse of Ronald Hatton and stolen stamps, etc., to tho value of £1 8s 3d. Robert Donald Alcßeath, John Alilne, Colin Frederick AlcDonald and William Leslie Lamb were charged with having on June 2, wilfully damaged a motor-car to the extent of £1 3s 6d, tho property of Donald Mc-
Gregor Reid. The same accused were charged with having stolen a camera valued at £2, the property of Reid. Frank Abbot McDonald, Robert AlcDonald Alcßeath, John Alilne- and Raymond Cleavers Chaclands Appleby were charged with having stolen a quantity of grapes, valued at £2 10s, the property of Thomas Kay Sidey. After hearing the evidence, all the accused, who pleaded guilty, were committed to tho Supreme Court for sentence.
