A troop train from Halifax was pelted by rocks by youthful strika sympathisers when en route to the outskirts of Sydney, in Cap’e Breton district, whence the. troops will- pioceed to Waterford. The troops,-con-sisting of infantry and artillery, ■ are armed with all the equipment for ac-i tive service. The. Royal Canadian regiments at Toronto, ■ and London, Ontario, are awaiting word from Ottawa to entrain for the Cape Breton district also.

Yesterday word was received in'dicating that disorders are spreading in the Cape Breton district, where . the coal miners are striking. Rioting is reported to have broken out id New Aberdeen, Glace Bay District, Five hundred troops, fully equipped; are en route to New Watierford.
