(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.)
, t LONDON, May 21. The Executive of the Federation threw its weight in favour of inaction, no doubt as the result of the disclosure of the serious plight of the coal industry. Ah owners’ and miners’ joint conference will now further investigate a solution, of the slump problem. The next interesting test of strength as between the militarists and the moderates will be 'at the Miners’ Conference, on June 4, to discuss the revival of the Triple Alliance. *
