ENFIELD HANDICAP (Saddle), one mile. — Stockade ... ... ••• 1 Tobermory 2 August Dillon 3 Also started —Glen Mavis, Lens, Phil Smith, Ben Billon, Nell Pointer, Tommy Direct, William the First, Sir Henry, Emperof, Elite and Xavier. Won by a length. Time 2.11 1-5. Elite stumbled after going two furlongs and threw his rider, C. Isaacson, heavily. On being brought in Isaacson was semi-conscious, but on being sent to the hospital his injuries were found to bo slight. CHRISTCHURCH HANDICAP (harness), of 1000 sovs. ; 2 miles.
