The following cable has been received by the New Zealand Rugby Union from Mr Wray, New Zealand representative in England : —“President of the Sports Stadium, Imperial Exhibition, asks me to ascertain your preliminary views regarding sending a team to a world tournament in November, 1924.” It was decided to invite the English Union to send a British team here in 1923, and to cable Mi* Wray asking him what would be the conditions of the tournament, and stating that, if they were satisfactory, to the New Zealand Union would be favourably .inclined towards taking part. 1 Star teams for to-morrow’s matches will
