ARAHURA FAT STOCK. SALE. At the Aiahura Yards yesterday 62 fat sheep and 71 head of fat cattle were offered to public competition to a representative attendance of buyers. There was again a very heavy yarding of cow ami heifer beef, but notwithstanding this competition was even throughout the sale and prices did not show any depreciation compared with recent sales, and if anything showed a firming tendency. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follow : —On account of Air J. McGregor, 42 fat wethers at 24s 6d, 20 at 22s 3d. On account of Mr Leo Haddock, 2 heifers at £9 ss, 1 at £B, 3 at £5 ss, 1 cow at £9 ss, one at £8 7s 6d, 1 at £B, 1 at £5, 1 vealer at £2 10s, 3 ditto at £2 Is, and 2 ditto at £1 12s. On account of Mr W. O’Reilly, 1 steer at £9 ss, 2 at £7 10s, 1 at £7, 2 at £6 17s 6d, 2at at £6, 1 cow at £8 ss, 1 at £5, 2 heifers at £8 ss, 2 at £7 17s 6d, 2 at £5 10s. On account of Mr W. Olderog, 2 vealers at £2 12s, 1 cow at £5 10s. On account of Messrs Ferguson Bros, 4 heifers at £8 10s, 2 at £7, 6 at £5 15s, 2 at £5, 5 cows at £8 17s 6d, 3at £8 105,'3 at £7, sat £6 10s, 2 at £6 and 2 at £5 10s.
