YOUNG MEN’S CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. ' The fourteenth annual meeting of the Grey Young Men’s Club will be held in the club rooms, Town Hall, at 7.30 this evening. The balance-sheet to be presented discloses the club to be in a strong financial position, the excess of assets being some £4OO over liabilities. Unfortunately ’the membership wa» sadly depleted during the war period, and no great headway has been made in securing new members; so that at the present time, the club only requires a few new active members to once' more become the flourishing institution it was a few years ago. The Old Boys’ AsociaHon has now entered into an arrangement with the club, whereby they share the use of the rooms, so that, this should tend to induce new members to join. The club extends a cordial welcome to any young or old man to attend their meeting to-night, and such attendance will not be looked upon as a desire to become a member unless the visitor expressly wishes. The club is non-sectarian and nonpolitical, discussion of these subjects being forbidden. The privileges of membership cost but £1 Is per year, and the young, middle-aged and old gentlemen of the town are invited to join.
