OPERA HOUSE. The Keystone comedy, "Caught with the Goods," and the final screening of tho •xacting melodrama, "The Man Who Forgot," will be the attraction piesented by Pollard's' pictures in the Opera House tonight. On Wednesday only, the powerful and one of the greatest of film masterpieces, "My Official Wife," with the great dramatic artist, Clara Kimball Young as the alluring Nihilist Queen, Helen Marie, will be presented. The supporting cast is a most powerful one, including as it does 'Harry Morey, Earle Williams, L. Roger Lytton, Louis e Baudet, Mary Anderson, Rose Tapley, and Eulalie Jensen. Tho play is a picturisation of the famous world-wide novel, "My Official vTito," and is a real flash light upon the Russian police methods of their dealing with Nihilists and other revolutionaries. The ball scene is one of outstanding cosily magnificence, the dressing and settings heing gorgeous. After seeing the picture the genjral chorus of enthusiasm over the production of "My Official Wife" can well be understood. TOWN HALL. "The Virginian,'' a five-reel Paramount featuring Dustin Farnum, will be screened at the Peerless to-night for the Inst time. Emily Stevens in "Destiny; or the Soul of a Women." will be the main attraction at th..> Peerless on Wednesday evening. The supporting items include the latest two-reel Fatty Arbuckle comedy, "Fattv Out West." The serial "Who is No. 1?" and the lastest Gazette and travel pictures. "Destiny; or tho Soul of a Woman" will be shown on Wednesday only; but "Fatty Out West" and "Who is No. 1?" will be sci-eened again on Thursday. To-morrow's issue will contain the story in brief of "Destiny." MINFRS' HALL, RUNANGA. ' At the Miners' Hall, Runanga, to-mor-row (Tuesday) evening, Pollard will prosent the celebrated Vitagraph super feature picturisation of the world-famed novel, "My Official Wife," with the favourite star artist, Clara Kimball Young as the beautiful queen of the Nihilists, Helen Marie, a. woman of unknown identity to the police of Russia, but notorious through her activities in the cause of the Nihilists- Helen Marie has a great cause against the aristocracy of Russia, for when hardly more than a child she saw her family butchered in cold blood. She carries through a ruse whereby she is allowed to cross the Russian frontier as the wife of an Englishman. The climax re n sensational one, and throughout the play the interest is well sustained by incidents that include the false passport, the attempted assassination of the Czar, the Nihilist Secret Council, the bombaidment of the escaping revolutionists, and the sinking of the yacht. The support is a powerful one, and includes Henry Moray, Earle Williams, Roger Lytton, Mary Anderson, Rose Taply and Louise Beaudet. A clever smart Keystone comedy, "Caught with the Goods,'- provides the comedy in the display. WESTPORT PIERROTS. At the Opera House to-morrow evening the above party of entertainers will give their opening performance. The recent performances in Westport were a revolution, and manv could not obtain accommodation on the opening night. Since then the practices have been held regularly, and something extra special is promised for Greymouth. • Reports coming to rf>nd give glowing accounts of the ppaii-kling and talented performance of the Pierrots, and lovers of good music, good dancing, and variety can look forward to having their wishes fulfilled to-morrow night. New soncs and new choruses, part songs, and a few of the old favourites will provide an excellent programme.
