KUMARA DAIRY FACTORY.

A I’itUSPivUOUS YEAR. The annual meeting el the Kumaia Dairy i'aetui'v was held at the company s ottiee on the 21st iust., a xaiily representative number of shareholders being present. Mr. Martyn occupied the chair. The secretary read the cuairman s report,' also the report of the 'manager and the balance sheet, all of which were adopted. The total receipts,for butter for the year were .£3,*178'. whilst the amount paid to suppliers for butterfat was £2,250 l:j» 3d. The expenses’ for the rear were ,£800« The overdraft at the Baird? of New Zealand was l reduced to £2,000. Messrs Martyn, McDonald, aid Richards were re-appointed directors. A bonus of ,£ls was voted to the manager. . O It was decided to leave in the hands of the manager the arrangements tor the supply of butterfat for the ensuing year. , ! It was also agreed to call for ten - ders for tli©. carting of cream from O'p settlement to the factory, returnable next Monday (October Ist).
