THE WEATHER

The indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale and backing by west, to south, and the weather appears likelv to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy rain is to be expected with rivers flooded. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising soon. Sea very heavy and tides good.
