The Full Court sat this morning to hear argument in the case Skipper v. Camming, an appeal against conviction under the War Regulations, for an utterance prejudicial to recruiting. Three questions arise on appeal which, owing to their importance, are being* heard in the "Full CourtThey are as follows: — 1. Whether the words used were prejudicial to recruiting. 2. "Whether the Military Service Act affects the regulation, and
;>. Whether on ft general appeal under the Justices of the Peace Act, the Supreme Court, can reduce the sentence imposed hv the Magistrate.

portniiee. Mr J. A" IM, K-C, nnd Mr Van Siavoren appear for appellant and the Solicitor-General for the Crown. Mr Reed contends that the Supreme Court can reduce the sentence- He relies upon section :\()2 and 813 of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1008.
