. THE DUCHESS OF CONNAUGHT. [.AUSTRALIAN AvP N.Z. CAULK ASSOCIATION.] Received this day at fl.-lo a.in. LONDON, March 1(5. The Duche. s of Connaught is dead. Mr. Massey and Hon. A. Fisher condoled with the Duke of Connaught. The formal opening of the new Australasian Club was postponed owing to the Duchess's health. The dub now in operation is intended for use solely for. officers- on leave from France. The building is situated in Piccadilly, in the centre of clubland. Mr. King, a South African millionaire, gave the rent and the premise. 1 , are free from all charges. Messrs: Sfecl-MuUiund, McAnden on, Vicary, and Gibb's, are trustees. Mr Gibbs took an active part in securing the money to equip the Club.
