CORA m QUA (15S). Very general regret will be felt by all tutting enthusiasts at. the heavy loss sustained by Mr. C. D. Hudson, of DuneUm, through the death of the imported American stallion Copa de Ora. Cop.i De Ora had the distinction of bt<i..g the fastest trotting stallion that ever lfcft America for a foreign home, and amongst horses imported to New Zealand was in a class by himself. He had the conformation of a thoroughbred, lus breeding was above reproach and was the fastest stallion ever foaled in the State of Calofornia, Copa De Ora did a light season at the Annerley Farm (Christchurch) last year, and if iiis New Zealand get are only equal to those sired by Copa De Ora whilst, at the stud in California, then it is safe to assume that more will be heard of Copa De Ora's at no very distant date in the New 'Zealand trotting world. Rayo De Ora (2.7 J), one of Copa D'j Ora's g ets > established a record for three-year-old pacers, whilst Ora Fina was the fastest two-year-old in California during the 19J0 season. 4 "
