• WE&T COAST VISIT. Advice was received on Tuesday,< that the Minister of Public Works was due on .the Coast next The itinerary for his Westland tour has been submitted as follows: Saturday, night, arrive, at Ross from Christchurch; Sunday, visit Waitaha Settlement and motor to Waiho Gorge; Monday, visit Okarito and Wataroa: Mat, motor to Hari Hari; Tuesday, visit Ross, Rimu'Flat and Kokatahi; deputations to be taken at Hokitika in the evening-; Wednesday, visit Westland Hospital, Arahura Valley, Stafford, etc,, to Kumara. A special meeting of the Westland County Council will be held at Hokitika on Tuesday evening' tor the purpose of waiting on the Minister in regard io County matters. . " Various deputations will be taken en route, and the residents of' Hart Hari'have invited the Hon. Minister to a banquet on Monday next. Mr Eraser has been asked to speak at Kumara. The Minister will be escorted from Otira Gorge to Ross by the County Chairman and the Mayors of Kumara and Ross, the party travelling by motor via the Christchiireh Road.
