Bartholomew, S.'VT., charged on five different informations with forgery at Palmerston, and on two informations with embezzlement of £IOO in 1908 and a. similar sum in 1909 • The first charge Wen was that on or about January. 1911, Crisp forged the name- and signature of James Park to certain conveyances of lands in Hawesbnrv district from James Park to Jessie ralmer. j After evidence was heard, the accussed, who reserved his defence, was committed for trial, the question of bail being held over. j
