He was apparently well when retiring on Saturday night, but efforts at rousing him by a. mate, named John Garrett, at 8.50 this morning were unsuccessful. Garrett waited in the bedroom till about 11 o’clock, when deceased sat up in bed, opened his eyes and then fell back dead. A postmortem examination will be made. WISHED TO BE DEAD.
