MIXED FOURSOMES. Tho mixed foursomes match, played last Saturday, resulted in a win for Mr Kettle and Miss Griffin. The following are the best cards sent in. (One player was penalised on the home green for improving the lino of play for his partner’s put) V Hep. Mr, C. Kettle and Miss Griffin 9 1 down Mr W. Devenish and Miss Stanford ' ... 6 3 down Mr W. Reynolds and Miss Drewitt ... 7 6 down Mr C. M. Benzoni and Miss Blackmore * 9 5 down The club is fortunate in having four trophies kindly donated by members. Mr Reynolds’ trophy will be awarded to the highest aggregate number of points in the Ladies’ A Division matches for the whole season. A win will count three points, a second two points and a third place on* point. Mr J. Stenhouse has given a sun! lar trophy for the ladies E Division. A men’s tournament will be played for Mr T. Thomas’s trophy about the end of July and the B Division will play for Mr farter’s trophy. . : ; These matches should result in many keen contests, and the donors of the trophies deserve the thanks of the club foP the stimulus' they are giving the game.'-
