ANTI-GAMBLING LEAGUE
PROTESTS AGAINST ADDITIONAL , RACING. . (BY TELEGRAPH. —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION ) WELLINGTON, This Day. Tlie Anti Gambling League--has made .representations to the Minister of Internal Affairs, protesting against any increase in the number of race days in the Dominion. It states that gambling is assuming such huge proportions that it threatens the commercial stability, as well as the moral integrity of the people. Any proposal to increase the race days will be met by an' agitation, and by a storm of protest that will be felt throughout this land.
