A QUESTION OF LAND OWNERSHIP

MELBOURNE, This Day. Work on the trans-Continental railway has been suspended. The Commonwealth claims not only all the lands required for the railway, but also all the catchment areas. South Australia insists that tho water catchments bo not given unless the State Railway Company certifies that they are reasonably required for continental purposes.
