IMPORTANT MONARCHIST PLOT. [PXR PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPTEIQHT.] LISBON, March L>3. An important Monarchist conspiracy has been discovered, with its centre at Oporto. There are several regiments involved, whom the Monarchist leaders promised speedy promotion if the losing proved successful, and life pensions if it failed.
‘ Tli© plans, it is stated, included the capture and assassination of _tho Republican leaders. The rising is stated to have been timed for the fourth of April. 1 The Government are now energetically repressing those concerned.
