A BRILLIANT PROGRAMME.

It is to be hoped that a very large audience will assemble to greet the array of talent both musical, terpsichorial and mmic, that has been approached by the Committee with a view of giving a highclass benefit performance in aid of Mrs Bert Shearman and family, who are left without support. The programme will he a very highclass one and includes such high-class vocaists as Miss Watson (Brunner), Miss "•Ithe] Potts, Messrs C. McLennan and .7. Bryant (tenor), William Fraser and Alf Ming (baritone), Stanley Croft (bass) and -T. Beresford (comedian). Miss Watson, will also sing her charming soprano songs, which are always worth listening to. Mr C 5. Gibbons, of Hokitika, will also contribute flute and piccolo selections. The dancing will be in able bands, as in addition to a number of Mr J .Budge’s pupils iome dancers from Hokitika wjll assist. Among these are the Lincoln sisters and Miss Elsie Dooling, Highland reel, fling ind sword dances. The Misses Tina Ashton, Tottie Michel, Kate Dynes, Inga Hannam, Effie Beirne and Ethel Potts will also dance hornpipes, jigs, and wait?: clog numbers, so that the interest which : s usually so great in dancing events should be unflagging. Tickets are 2s and ’s, and should be procured at once to rvoid disappointment.
