RUNANGA CHURCH BAZAAR

The portentous omens which ushered in the Bazaar still continue, and the Miners' Hall presented a busy scene last night. At. aai early hour large numbers of the general public began to assemble and the workers were kept busy. At this season of the year it is not surprising to learn that the Tea rooms are much patronised. During the course of the evening the Grey Scouts, under Commissioner Rev. T. F. Taylor, gave another exhibition of Scout work when they .icquitted themselves with much credit to the evident satisfaction of the large audience. The Bazaar will open this afternoon at 2 p.m. and will be speu till a late hour to-night. There is no doubt that toniirht will see a record attendance and it Is hoped that the efforts of the promoters will receive the reward which they deserve. An account of torday's work will appear in our Monday issue.
