(By Telegraph—Special to the Star). WELLINGTON. This Day. The Commission, which has be%h entrusted with the. task of choosing a site inland for a military traihini; centre comprising Mr W. 'J. Kensington LS.O. Under-Secretary of Lands) Mr J. Strauchon (Surveyor-General) and Colonel Tyson left Wellington this evening by the southern boat for Christchurch. A number of sites have been advocated in the South Island and the Commissioners will have a little more trouble to decide the matter there than will be experienced in the other Island. .Its report is not expected for several weeks.
