Wanganui scored 156 and Pelone 126, making their totals 386 and 326, Wanganui thus winning the championship Besson Shield, which now becomes their property.

In B Grade, Nelson and Gisborne tied with 130. Wanganui City was next with 116. Nelson therefore won the shield with a total of 370. Gisborne was next wifb 368 and Wanganui third with 352. Others finished as follows:—Blenheim 341, Wellington Tramway 33-1, Manaia 312, Eeild ing 311, Waitara 326, Cambridge 329 and Opnnake 286.
