KUMARA BOROUGH COUNCIL

The usual fortnightly meeting of the FCumara Borough Council was lield last evening. Present Crs. McGlono , (chair), Benyon, Rouse, Bell, Eggleton, Evenden and Jones. From the Mining Registrar forwarding applications for two residence sites of one acre eacli fronting Fifth Street, in the names of Mary 'thorn and Thomas Thorn. O. Eggleton moved and Cr. Jones seconded that the Public Works Committee visit the spot and report at next meeting of the Council on the 17th insfc.— Carried. A list of amounts of rales and the names of the persons against whom judgment had been given bv the Court was read by order of the'Council and it was resolved that notice be sent to those concerned that if the amounts are not paid bv the 28th Feb. ruary the Registrar will be asked to sell the properties.
