OBITUARY.
The death occurred at Nelson last week of Mr Thomas Allen, for many years Secretary and Tresurer to the Greyinouth Harbor Board.
News was received in town yesterday of the death at Wanganui of Mr Phil Swinglaudj who for many years occupied a position in the Customs Department at Grevmouth. On his retirement therefrom he proceeded to Nelson and subsequently to Wanganui, where he resided till his death. The deceased was a well-known and most respected citizen. Many indeed will regret to learn of his demise. To his sister. Mrs Andrew Anderson, of Greymouth, will be extended much sympathy in her bereavement.
