Residents of England have £110,000,000 invested in mortgages in foreign countries. These investments annually drain the foreign countries of about £5,500,000 in gold cash. It seems as if the lady bowler is going to materialise in Eltham this season. Last year she was a suggestion, a phantasma, occasionally seen on the green when the rain kept mere man away.
