THE GREYMOUTH GUN CLUB.
A meeting of the above Club was held at the Albion Hotel last evening. Present: Messrs R. Alison (chair). Dr. Meßrearty, Davey, Blackmore, Cochrane, Good, Fanslow, James and Gritfcn. Mr Alison presented 10s 6d to the member who kills the most birds on Saturday next out of five shots from scratch. Mr Griffon presented 10s 6d to the member killing the most birds on Wednesday, July 15th, five shots. • Mr W. Thomas presented lis, which will be divided into second prizes for Saturday and Wednesday. Resolved that members pay Id for each bird. Mr Alison moved that each competitor on Saturday and Wednesday next provide his own cartridges. Resolved that l!ho distance from the trap he ten yards for opening days. Resolved that a drag leave the Albion Hotel at two o'clock on Saturday afternoon for Karoro, where- the match will bo held. Resolved that a members 'ticket be printed and supplied to each member on paving his subscription. Resolved that an account be opened, and the secretary and treasurer be authorised to sign cheques. Resolved that the ironmongers in town be given the option to supply cartridges at the same price as the Colonial Ammunition Company. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated proceedings.
