A KUMARA WEDDING.
By the Rev. Father O’Hallahan.'at St latncks Church at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, M r J nomas Kennedy was married to Miss .Maragret Tobin, fifth daughter of Mr and •Mrs I ohm, of Boundary road. As both parties to the contract are well known am popular, a crowd of friends, particularly of the fair sex, gathered to witness the ceremony. Tne bride, who was given away by her father, wore a pretty grey tweed costume and white silk vest trimm™ insertion. She also wore a beautiful black picture hat, and carried a lovely bouquet, the gift of Miss E. Gib-'-'ons- -”J SS E- Byrne, as bridesmaid, was smartly dressed in a very becoming navy xt ue r, °^ 1 cosll,me with black picture hat. -Mr I . Ryder acted as best man for the occasion On the party leaving the enurch. Miss Mulvihill (organist) played t.ie Bedding March. After the ceremony the wedding party adjourned to the residence of the bride’s parents, where they were entertained with traditional hospitality. Later in the day Mr and Mrs Kennedy left for Greymouth. whore a short honeymoon is to be spent. We join m wishing the newly wedded couple long life and happiness. "
