While attending this school I took a two years’ course of cookery under a professional instructoi, and on the only occasion on winch I competed in a public competihon I secured first prize in each adult class entered for. I matriculated while at the Timaru school and passed the Junior University Scholarship examination with credit. After this I entered Canterbury College as a student, and while in Christchurch for this puropse I had two years’ raining at the Normal Training Colioge, my certificate for which I enclose. 1 sat for the final examination for degree of Bachelor of Arts last November, and have received notice from the Registrar of the University Ijiat I have been admitted as a B.A. tor the past two months I have been filling a temporary position in the secondary -department of the Southland District High School. I am 23 years of age, and enjoy good health. I enclose.references from each of the Professors and lecturers whose lectures I attended at Canterbury College. and one from Miss Watt, Lady I rmeipal of the Timaru High School. .
