The Government dues not exhibit a disposition to make concessions, and intends to apply the closure to the duscussion soon. Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman, in reply to a Question from Mr Ward (Laborite), assured him that the Government considered that the House of Lords had acted unconstitutionally in rejecting the Aliens Bill, and this merely because the Government did not take up the Bill.
