WHOLESALE CONDEMNATION. [BY ELECTBIC TELEGRAPH —COPTOIOHT J [PEE P8F.89 ASSOCIATION.] LONDON, May 21. The Committee of the Free Church of Scotland attributes the declension of spiritual life to the worldliness of society, and to the workman's tendency to irreligious socialism and rationalism. It condemns (he Spanish Royal marriage as "an outrage upon Christian feeling," and it deplores the advent to the United Kingdom of the "Continental Sunday." The Committee blames King Edward for "dishonoring the Sabbath both, at Home and abroad."
The Edinburgh newspaper "Scotsman" condemns what it refers to ns "the lack of wisdom, modesty and «oo(l sense displayed by the Committee."
