The ordinary monthly meeting of the above was held in the Council Chambers Wallsend on Tuesday evening. Present The Mayor (chair) Crs Cosgrove, Taylor Coppersmith and Watson. The usual routine business having been dealt with, a letter was read from the Department of Public Works relative to damage to road near Stillwater through the operations of the dredge and Hiking for position of same and if injunction had been taken out to restrain them from working. .Information asked for already sen I.

From Registrar Supreme Court re taking steps to compel owners to pay rates.
