Acomposition of two parts sawdust, two parts lime,, five of sand, and one of cement is said to be very firm and will not peel off. The technical royal school of Charlottenburg hasbeen making a series of experiments with sawdust, and has now proved that it can be used as building material. The sawdust ismixed with certain refuse mineral produotaand moulded under enormous prpssu.e into the form of bricks, and after this treatment the sawdust formß excellent buildingmaterial, very light, impervious to wet, and. utterly uninflammable.
