McLaren, Official Secretary in London to the Commonwealth of Australia, headed by Mrs Guy limes, on behalf of the British Commonwealth League urged mensues to secure the passage by dominion governments including New Zealand of legislation enabling women to decide whether upon marriage they retain their own or adopt their husband’s nationality. Mr McLaren promise 1 to transmit the representations to the governments concerned.
