VALUATION OF LAND
BOROUGH REDUCTION TO REMEDY INEQUALITIES (Per Press Association) Gisborne. March 1 Taking advantage of the recent amendment to the Land Valuation of Land Act. the Gislnirne Borough Council has decided to reduce the values as appearing in the valuation roll at the date of the last general revaluation in 1930 by 2.T tier cent., except in cases where a reduction lias already lieen granted an individual application. This decision lias lieen taken to. remedy the inequalities in values caused by numerous reductions recently made.
