WEST COAST LINKS EXPERTS IX VESTHI AT ING (Per Press Association). Christchurch. March 1 To investigate the jiossibility of road-building in South Westland in the Haast region. Mr. J. Wood, assistant engineer of the Public Works Department. Dunedin, left Christchurch this morning by aeroplane to make ail aerial survey of the area . Mr. Wood will consider the possibility of taking a road across the Haast Pass, either in Central Otago fir south toward the Milford Sound road.
