The market closed on a par with the previous day. The recent irregularity ill crossbreds continued. Japanese and Continental buyers were active: also Yorkshire for suitable sorts. Greasy merino sold to 25Jd for live bales from T’ralla. New Zealand.
The average price of the woold sold during the first threedays this week was £2l 14s Id a bale or 17.(1d per Il>. The average price for the week ended February 24 was £22 10s 9d per hale, or 18.9 per lb : and for the week ended February 17. £23 Ss Id a hale or 19.4 d per 11).
