GLEB'S ANNUAL MEETING SEASON OPENS THIS MONTH At the animal meeting of tlie Feilding Golf Club last evening, Mr W. E. Cart hew, presided over a large gathering' of members. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, Mr Cart hew remarked that the membership over tlie past season had been well maintained and had been most successful. Mr Fair seconding tlie motion remarked that the balance sheet revealed a. sound slate of affairs. Mr I). C. Cull inane offered eongratuatiops to the committee for the excellent work that had been done. Tlie report and balance sheet were adopted. The election of officers resulted: President. Mr A. C. MdCorkindale; vice-president, Mr G. M. Moffitt; club captain. Mr To M. Giesen ; trustee, Mr -T. Graham : lion treasurer, Mr T. S. Goldsmith ; lion, secretary. MV A. H. A proposal of Mr Stichbury that only three qua life rounds be placed, was adopted. Referring to tlie departure of Mrs Reedy, secretary of flic Todies’ Club, the president said that her work had been greatly appreciated by the associate members.

The work of the ladies was eulogised by the president, and tbe meeting carried with enthusiasm a hearty vote of thanks.
