Mr George Hunt, of Wakefield, Nelson, a well known Romney breeder 69, died suddenly yesterday afternoon while on a visit to Blenheim. Mr Swanger, formerly secretary of the Wanganui Education Board, renewed many acquaintances in a visit to the two Feilding schools yesterday.
General regret will be felt over the death of Mr Norman (Dick) Benge, after an illness extending over two years. He was best known as a billiarcVist, at which pastime he won the Wellington champonship four year s ago as the representative of the Rangitikei Club. Mr Benge was 38 years of age.
