SETTING FIRE TO SHOP COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE (Per Press Association) Dunedin, July 20. At tlio Polite Court, before Mr. Bundle. S.M.. William MeKenißq Thomas Stewart and Stewart Muir were charge .l with wilfully setting fire to a shop and building owned liy McKenzie. Detective Power stated that he found some partly burned cotton wool amongst tlie cinders in the shop. Accuse I, in statements, had admilted the offence, the object being to obtain the insurance money. Act used pleaded guilty and were committed for sentence.
